For 34 days during the first wave of COVID-19 (May-June, 2020), we posted instalments called "ANDARA Gallery at Home" ... a series of posts on social media sharing what it's been like for our clients and friends to isolate at home, and how their art has been a constant companion during this difficult time.

We want to thank everyone who shared their experiences with us. They told us that their art made them happy, provided quiet reflection. It reminded them of home, and their travels, of the places they were born or long to return to one day. During isolation, they really took notice of the colours, shapes, textures and the details in their art and said - post-COVID - they won't stop noticing the details ever again.

There is no greater joy for an artist than to know that art - created with our heart and hands, our skills and experience - touched someone. It's even more of an honour and a privilege that the art we created could be there for them in times of darkness and uncertainty. Long live the power of art!
